Thank you for sharing this! I like that you included a picture of your Napoleon Dynamite figure, plus I can't believe the movie is that old. My recent glimmers have been just watching my cats live their lives, listening to episodes from my favorite podcasts, and spending time with my favorite scents. Doesn't take much!

Love taskmaster! We watched one this evening! Sooo good! Yes, lots of glimmers, I definitely find lots in my garden, my frogs calling each other, my white raspberries having their 2nd fruiting of the year (I don't think they've done that before) bare feet on grass, the different consistencies of paint, using my fingers to move the paint around. Getting glue or paint on my hands. Pouring paint. Getting muscles to relax when lying down (harder than it sounds and so good when it happens)

Oh that all sounds blissful! Especially Taskmaster! 😻

Omg that was such a good compilation, ha ha! I don't know much about him. I think I must have heard him being interviewed on Off Menu, Parenting Hell etc. I wonder if I have assumed Mike Wozniak was Matthew Crosby from Pappy's Fun Club all these years?! I saw Pappy's at Edinburgh Fringe too, but again lost interest when they got a TV series..!

Don't know Pappy's fun club! Off to Google I go! 🤣

I don’t remember much of Pappy other than it was really preppy 😹

I used to go to all of Jason Byrnes, Paul Foot and Brian Gittins (David Earl) shows too. Ah those were the days!

Check out We Are Klang on YouTube at Edinburgh and Beyond - you won’t regret it! xx

Ooh hadn't found that podcast thanks! I listened to the taskmaster podcast with ed gamble, that was good. Have you watched the series with Wozniak in it? (Can't remember his first name!) He was soooo funny!

I haven't got far into it yet and I have lost memory recall currently so don't even know. Stupid hormone fluctuations! I have just finished watching all of Seinfeld for the first time and now watching all of the Big Bang Theory for the first time. I think Taskmaster needs another 15 years or so on it before I properly catch up!

I hate engaging with anything when it is popular and mainstream, ha ha! First time I saw Greg Davies he was in We Are Klang when it was still a stage show in a tiny portacabin venue at the Edinburgh Fringe. Must be twenty years ago! They were astounding, and I then used to watch them at Soho Theatre, London. Then when they were successful enough to land a TV series I completely disengaged 😝

I only liked them when they were alternative comedy, like when music was properly indie. Ugh, I sound so old!!

Love Big Bang Theory! Young Sheldon too. Not done Seinfeld, might need to go on the list! We have been watching stuff that came out ages ago. Have you seen what we do in the shadows, that's our latest discovery that passed us by at the time!! Ah yes proper indie music! When we were young eh? Xx

I’m not great with TV shows or movies. I have hyperacusis and get super distressed by certain sounds 😭

I'm beyond perimenopausal, having gone through a surgically induced menopause (here for my daughter truthfully). I still have Glimmer moments. This morning, taking a delicious full fat coffee back to bed and having 3 cats thinking what a great idea Mum. Cat snoring is a Glimmer moment all of its own.

Also any podcasts you recommend? I love Off Menu, Parenting Hell and the Wittering Whitehalls, for starters 😃

Glimmers get me through the very difficult moments 💫

Morning dew on delicate spider web 🕸️

Butterflies and feathers

Fluffy socks and throws

Colourful flowers

Scented oils

Autumn leaves dancing 🍂

Fry’s orange cream bars(3pack)

My kids joyfully shrieking in happiness(this can usually be a trigger for overwhelm but I love the moments I’m able to enjoy it for the glimmer that it is)

A new book/notebook

Freshly changed bed

My dogs pawing for affection(ok not going to lie, this is normally just an irritation as I feel touched out, my personal space is encroached and they are demanding me to rub them-so it’s an occasional glimmer)
